The Plato platform is a tool supporting professional training, networking and practice sharing in the field of drug prevention. 

Plato is  a web-based platform supporting formal and informal professional training by integrating two main learning environments: 

1. An e-learning area

This supports both synchronous learning (via webinars) and asynchronous learning (based on the use of digital materials, quizzes/ questionnaires and forum-based individual/ collaborative activities)

 

 2. A Virtual Community of Practice (VCP) environment

This supports the exchange of best practice and utilises community-engaging tools (e.g. shared repositories, pages, calendars, discussions, thematic groups, etc.)
